Workshop on application of techniques used in various areas (such as cut-and-project sets, non-standard numeration systems, or dynamical systems) to the combinatorics on words. The workshop is aimed mainly for graduate and undergraduate students and young researchers in the field.

The topics will cover combinatorial properties of infinite words defined by

• coding of interval exchange transformations
• coding of beta-integers in non-standard numeration systems
• cut-and-project scheme
• fixed points of primitive substitutions
